Registered Service Manager – Respite Services (Peripatetic/Multi-site)
 
Location: Church Green Lodge Norwich with travel across services as required 
 

Salary/Contract: £40,766.50 per annum, Full-Time 37 hours per week, Permanent

We are seeking a committed and capable Registered Service Manager to work flexibly across service locations to provide leadership cover, support service continuity, and respond to operational needs in our respites service, providing short-term support to individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong, visible leadership to a dedicated team

  • Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and organisational policies
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred support that reflects individual preferences and needs
  • Oversee care planning, risk management, and safeguarding practices
  • Manage staffing, recruitment, performance, and development
  • Maintain effective partnership working with families, commissioners, and external professionals
  • Drive continuous improvement, quality assurance, and service development
  • Ensure governance, reporting, and operational processes are consistently completed

About You

  • Proven experience in a management role within adult social care
  • Strong understanding of CQC requirements and regulatory frameworks
  • Experience delivering or overseeing respite or residential care services (desirable)
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards)
  • A confident and motivating leader with excellent people management skills
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities
  • A proactive approach with a commitment to high standards of care

Additional Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS check with Adults’ Barred List
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
  • Participation in on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support
